Is the volume marked as "Read Only" in the volumes tab of the NAS Web UI?

I suggest downloading the full log zip from the logs page.

If the issue is the NAS, then do NOT reboot it.  Instead, back up as much of the data as you can (starting with irreplaceable personal documents).  If the volume is Read Only, then your data is at risk, so you need to be very careful on how you proceed.

i downloaded the full log zip, please suggest how i can share the logs file.

I checked volume is not marked read only in web UI.

Can you copy a test file (not the PST file) from your PC into the same destination share you are using for the PST?

Might not need it.  But the general way is to upload the zip into cloud storage (dropbox, google drive, etc).  Then send a private message (PM) using the envelope icon in the upper right of the forum page.  Include a download link to the zip (making sure the permissions are set so anyone with the link can download).

Don't post the link publicly - there is some privacy leakage when you do that.

I am not sure about permission changes .

I am trying to copy data from existing share folder with admin credential.

As I said in my PM two days ago, it looks like your volume was mounted read-only by the NAS in response to errors.

If you have questions on the advice in the PM, it's probably best to continue the conversation there.

      Hello Sir,

      Thanks for your reply.

Please suggest how can i resolve the read only error in NAS, or please share KB so that we can move forward

        Did you read my PM?

There are multiple problems, and as a result the NAS mounted your volume as read-only.  These include

        • one disk that is generating errors
        • the bit-rot detection feature is finding several files with errors that it can not correct
        • a ~95% full volume, so you could also be dealing with free space exhaustion.

As I said at the end of my analysis:

The best strategy (though expensive) is to

        1. back everything up (if this hasn't been done already.
        2. replace the failing disk (and consider expanding the volume by getting two larger disks and replacing another disk
        3. do a factory default and rebuild the NAS
        4. restore everything from backup (making sure the volume has at least 15% free space).

On the failing disk - be sure to check the serial number.  The NAS logs sometimes number disks starting with 0, and sometimes number them starting at 1.  The numbering I used in the PM was starting from 0.
