Unable to access Readynas NV+ shares using Windows 7
I have two ReadyNAS NV+ systems. one is running 4.1.6 and the other running 4.1.7. i had drives mapped using windows 7 to N:\\NAS_IP1\media and M:\NAS_IP2\media. Ive had them up and running for ages ...
are you able to map the share \\HostnameOriP\sharename ? does the password window pop-up? what error does it give you? also were you ever able to connect to this drive using your current OS setup? have you tried other windows 7 installations to connect to this drive? mine was as simple as making sure "client for Microsoft windows" was installed for my network adapter. when you go to your network card properties and hit "install" can you add any client, services, or protocols?
