Unable to access Readynas NV+ shares using Windows 7
I have two ReadyNAS NV+ systems. one is running 4.1.6 and the other running 4.1.7. i had drives mapped using windows 7 to N:\\NAS_IP1\media and M:\NAS_IP2\media. Ive had them up and running for ages ...
i dont think it would hurt to turn on the multicast thing on the specified network adapter. is there a firewall on the system? what is the security setting on the readynas? i have mine set so it has the same workgroup name as windows 7 computer. is the current network home, work, or public? can you connect to shares on one of the xp or vista hosts from the windows 7 computer?
