I don't doubt this. Will try with 4.1.8 later today and have a look at what the installer actually does. But from my current experience the install process was even faster than when installing some of my add-ons so personally I don't think it's a timeout issue. (Yeah, I'm never hesitant to get proven wrong later on ;))
