    Metadata tiering is only available for Flex-RAID volumes.

Thanks Stephen. Once the tier is created in Flex-Raid will I be able to convert the volume to X-Raid?

I don't know the answer to that, hopefully mdgm-ntgr will chime in.

    Metadata tiering is only available for Flex-RAID volumes.
