Update OS and Raidar ???
I have a ReadyNAS Duo from MAY 2011 - the Raidar About says version 4.1.3 and when I run it the INFO for my ReadyNAS Duo is 4.1.7. Can I update Raidar and the OS ... without having to re-new some h...

Yes you can. updating the OS does not mean you also need to update the hardware, updating the FW is to improve performace of your device and for bug fixes as well. Raidar is used to monitor the NAS on your network.
You know I have this "un-delete-problem" we talked about in another thread - I have NOT saved anything at all on the ReadyNAS Duo since I unfortunately delete these video files - right now I'm backing up the drive.
Will updating OS affect my chances for recovering these files ?
