Update OS and Raidar ???

It's best practice to backup so if you go and delete something you should still have the data.
I normally HAVE backup of my data but in this case I fooled around and deleted some video files while copying some new files to the drive - so the deleted ones has not yet been backed up.
How would the practice be for a "recovery case" - can it be done remotely ?
