Updating the firmware for ReadyNAS DUO v1

For almost all home networks it is 255.255.255.0. You can check it using a PC that uses DHCP.
Or better still - change the v1 IP address to automatic, and reserve it in your router to the value you want.
My submasj IS 255.255.255.0 in the ReadyNAS DUO.
How can I "reserve" a specific IP-address to the ReadyNAS DUO in my gateway - is that what you are saying I should do ?
