Upgrade ReadyNAS DUO v2 to RND4000 NV+
I have a ReadyNAS DUO v2 with 2x3TB HDD and will need more space in the near future. I am considering buying a RND4000 NV+ plus 2x3TB HDD. After installation of the new drives can I simply put in the 2 from the DUOv2 and continue to use them or will I need to copy everything from the DUO v2 across to the RND4000 NV+ then put the drives in.

- SkywarpTutorYes, just make sure you:
Get a NV+ v2, then:
1. power off both devices
2. move the original disks over
3. boot the new unit
4. add the new drives after booting up - pixmate70AspirantThanks for the fast reply Skywarp.
Just ordered the RND4000 NV+ v2 which will be here tomorrow. So if all goes well should be up and running by the evening. - pixmate70AspirantSkywrap... RND4000 NV+ v2 arrived and was setup without any problems thanks to your help.
