You are pretty much at the highest performance level you can reach with the duo v1.
If you don't have a UPS, I suggest that you get one. You can lose your data if you have an unexpected power loss, especially if journaling is disabled.
You should get one with a USB cable, so the NAS can monitor it - then the NAS will shutdown before the battery drains completely.
