USB drive for backup/ Auto Share wide open
Hi,
When I attach a USB drive for backup to my ReadyNas 314, I noticed it created a share for the USB drive. Very nice but that made my backup wide open to all users since access was granted to Everyone. Yikes! I have closed the share down but what is the best practice suggestion here?

- Can you upgrade to 6.2.0 if you haven't already?
After upgrading to 6.2 if you lock down access to the share again are those settings retained even after a reboot? - I have not upgraded to 6.2 but I will do that, perhaps over the holiday. I will make a note to check the share each time I reboot or if I disconnect and reconnect the drive. Good caution for other admins to keep in mind. -Bob
