I understand that you would like to find an option to re-name the USB hard drives that connects to the NAS. As of the moment there is no option to rename it but a feature request has been sent and we are just waiting if and when they will consider adding the feature to the NAS.

This has been asked for many times, for several years now.  IMHO, it's time to get past "considering it", and actually implement it.
