:( I am facing the problem again this morning and this time without disconnecting the USB Drive from the NAS. I am not in front of a stable system...
- not possible to delete any files neither from the NAS html interface nor from my PC explorer
- not possible to add anything neither from the NAS html interface nor from my PC explorer
I am now afraid to have to wait for an additional 10 hours of HDD reparation !!! There shoudl really be a serious bug somewhere - How to know if I am right ? how to have someone from Netgear being aware of ? Even a workaround would be appreciated... I am really thinking using FAT32 even if because of that I will have to get rid of a few very big files... Am I the only one facing this problem ? it could really help to know that...
Here is what I do with this USB HDD => from time to time and from my PC file explorer I copy files to it through the network connection... not more not less. Yesterday it was working - not this morning... I am also using a copy tool that see the HDD this way smb://nas1/USB_HDD_6/Videos
