USB share access denied
Hello
I have a ReadyNAS 314 and a 2TB Seagate portable USB3 external hard drive for the purpose of backing up the NAS contents. I have made the USB drive a share so it can be accessed via UNC path but whenever I try Windows asks for credentials. As far as I can see in the NAS Admin Console the share Network Access settings are identical to all my internal shares and I don't have any problem accessing those. Does anyone know why this would be?
Many thanks.
