V+12 power is out of normal range

Also the RN516 has a 5 year limited hardware warranty. If the internal PSU failed after 4 years that would still be during the warranty period.
With any hardware, PSUs can fail. Offices managing large numbers of PCs will come across PSU failure that happens sometimes much sooner than what you encountered. Some PSUs last longer than others. For some users the PSU may last for years after the warranty expires.
