VERY slow rebuild - 780 hours
I finally sorted out the OS drive full and got repalcement drives for 2 failing drives 1 had ~600k RRE's the other had nearly 7M RRE's!). When I replaced the first drive it rebuilt in a "normal" amount of time (Pro6 6x 3TB drives so it takes a while no matter what). I just replaced the second failing drive and have let it work for an hour or so and it is making basically no progress. The rebuild is progressing ~1MBps.
Recovery 0% complete, Time to finish 787 hr 3 min, Speed 1032 KB/sec
Looks like the drive that was sent isn't the model that I thought, its a HDN724030ALE640. I do see another poster used these drives.
Thoughts?

What services are you running?
What apps do you have installed?
Are you using the NAS heavily at the moment?
Have you checked to see if you have another failing disk?- kirkfreyAspirant
CIFS, NFS, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, Rsync (no changes in months to anything
Dnsmasq and CrashPlan
Nope, I was letting it sit to rebuild. no load (I am now copying off to another device in case another drive is failing)
No other drives with any RRE's
RAIDiator 4.2.22 (no changes)
other than replacing the failed disk, no changes.
