After fighting with this same issue for some time, I changed the MTU on the NAS to 1492 and it fixed my wireless access problems to the files on the NAS. I really thought it was a Vista issue, but seems to be related to the wireless adapter. Unfortunately, I cannot change the MTU on the wireless adapter. Checked my wired speed on an XP PC using MTU set to 1500 and 1492 on the NAS. I saw no difference in speed in transferring a 105MByte file. A big THANK YOU.
