I just got my Readynas NV+ V2 up and running a week ago. I have 3x 2TB drives setup in an XRAID array (3.6TB volume). A few days ago, I copied about 100GB of files over to the NAS. Today, I made some config changes and rebooted. I decided to do a volume scan on reboot.
Just like the examples posted above, the volume scan encountered about a dozen or so block errors. Everything seems to be working, however. Is this something to be concerned about? Does this usually happen after copying large amounts of data to/from the NAS?
Edit: There have been no power outages or improper shut downs that I know of and the unit is plugged into a UPS.. Also, I think it is unlikely that the drives are faulty as I did low-level formats on all and all 3 passed all available manufacturer-provided integrity tests (short and long tests in Seatools for DOS) just prior to installing them in the NAS. They were also updated to the recommended (by Netgear) firmware.
