Some routers offer a 'wake-on-lan' service to wake PC's when packets are sent their way.
I do not want to wake my PC, i want to wake my NAS when i try to access a shared media from a PC. But i'm not even sure if i can put my ReadyNAS into sleep mode
That, combined with a script that shuts down NAS after its been in disk spin-down mode for X hours, could somewhat get there.
Where can i find that ? And would it shut down my nas after X hours of inactivity or just after it has been running for X hours ? I don't want it to shut down in the middle of a movie
