wake-on-demand and shutdown on inactivity ?

First question :

Is it possible to use something like wake-on-demand (Apple Bonjour service has that) with the ReadyNAS ?

I use my NAS for my medias file. But each time i want to access a media, i have to manually start my NAS. I would like to put it in advanced sleep mode and wake it only when i need my files. Is it possible ?

Second:
Is there a function to shutdown my NAS (or put it in advanced sleep mode) when it has not been used in the last X hours ? Something like on windows.

Thanks!

I checked the WOL addons for XBMC but it doesn't allow me to automatically wake my NAS when i try to play a media hosted on it. It would just add a button to send the magic packet, that's not exactly what i want. I guess i'll have to forget about WOL :(

However, i am still looking for a solution to auto-shutdown on inactivity

I'm still looking for a way to automatically shutdown the NAS after 1 hours of inactivity. If someone can write a script to do that i can pay for it.

Also i am looking for a way to program a button on my universal remote to wake the NAS. I thought about setting a button to launch a BAT file with EventGhost or something like that... Would it be possible to send WOL packet with a batch file ? and how to do it ?
