Wake up my old beloved NAS
I try to start up my old RND4000 v3 NAS to be used toghether with Time Machine on my iMAC. With a lot of digging I have finally been able to log into the NAS as admin. But I have a major problem with...

Your NAS became end-of-life back in 2011, so definitely vintage. I have one of those models still running (but only as a secondary backup to my main NAS).
You might look at posts 1 and 5 on this thread:
Current browsers require TLS 1.2, which isn't available for the NV+ you have. The add-ons in the thread are for different models, but the patch will allow you to connect to the NAS using http from any browser (but not https).
You could also run into issues with SMB, since SMB 1.0 has been deprecated. Not sure if you can still use AFP with time maching (I'm not a mac owner).
