Where can I download the firmware 4.1.12 for USB BOOT Drive.
Where can I download the firmware 4.1.12 to write on a USB boot drive?
I think this is a different file then the normal 4.1.12 firmware.
Thanks for your help.

Why do you need this? Boot Recovery is rarely needed. Usually the problem is something else. - armornoneAspirant

Ok, here is the problem.
I upgraded my firmware from 4.1.8 to 4.1.12 and everything was fine. Then I did a factory reset process like I normally have done, I went into the RAIDar software, "click setup", navigated though some pages to select " X-raid"then it tells me that it will create the volume however nothing happens beyond this point.
Normally RAIDar will having the volume light flashing blue I think and it will start the process and/or reset and stuff...
However, it just said " click setup" on the RAIDar and the unit I think said something like " waiting for RAIDar"
I keep clicking though this process over and over again but it won't seem to take to the readynas( NV+).
So it seem like maybe something is wrong. Maybe a bad drive? I am not sure. - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredTry a different drive and if you still have the issue run the memory test a few times and if it passes then try USB Boot Recovery perhaps.

I did get an error message or alert or whatever earlier on a SATA reset on one of the drives and unsure of the data integrity. However it did not specify what drive was the offending drive.
I was able to just load a single drive in the unit and did a factory reset. That seemed to work so far.
So I am adding 1 drive in a time and letting it sync.
Thanks - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredThen USB Boot Recovery is not needed and would be a waste of time.
You could check the drives by hooking them up to a PC and checking them e.g. Using SeaTools for SeaGate disks or WD Lifeguard Diagnostics for WD disks.
