Yup. Resyncing will have deleted the existing data from the hard disk which was in your PC. Any data on the 1st disk of the DUO would have been copied over to the 2nd disk.
You should have done a backup. Of course, you could try to perform file recovery on the PC disk using a file recovery program.
I don't know how many files it would be able to retrieve.
A backup of the PC disk should have taken place beforehand. I hope that you did not have important data on the PC disk.
