Windows 10 Creators Update (bld# 1703) breaks Readynas 6.8.1 shares

Running 6.8.1  several shares setup with both "admin" and "everyone" set to "read/write" + "allow anonymous access" checked using SMBv3 (SMBv1 Disabled... )  Windows 10 PC running build# 1703(build# 15063.674) can access NAS via \\IP Address with no problems...  but when you update the Windows 10 PC to "Fall Creators Update 1703(build# 16299.19)  now you are getting prompted for creditials to access the NAS via IP address ....  or by doing  "net use * \\IP Adress\share "  you are prompted - if you enter the user "admin"  & password for this account ... you can't access the NAS..

What is strange... even on my Server 2016 - that has recieved no updates... this problems suddenly occurs once the Win10 client is updated..  on the network (it's the only win10 PC on my network)  uninstall Creators Update.. problem goes aways... Someone said this might be a result of "Master Browser broken to non Windows devices" bug mentioned in the link below..  https://bit.ly/2xbV9B3

under the NAS "Accounts" "Authentication"  I have "WORKGROUP" setup I've tried logging in with WORKGROUP\admin  in username & password but it still fails..  anyone have any suggestions or work arounds?

I've run into this once or twice, but just dealt with it manually.  I don't have any solution to offer.
