I used to have this problem. It's due to something in your network setup, usually wrt the IP address/NAS or PC name not being instantly recognised.
I solved the problem by reinstalling all the network drivers and making sure they were the latest. Adjusting the settings on the switch also helped, but your switch is unmanaged I think. Try turning Jumbo Frames off and/or enabling Flow Control.
Are your IP addresses DHCP derived ? If not, try that.
Also see if a direct connection has the same problem - I bet it doesn't.
