X-RAID Engine Fail to Start....
Hi all,
I got a ReadyNAS DUO and running with 2*500G Seagate disks. It's running perfectly for 1 year. Today I got a mail from ReadyNAS that he told me " The X-RAID engine has failed to start. To ensure data integrity, please refrain from using the NAS and contact Support immediately".
I check the logs and found that the X-RAID seems to be normally. Because both disks are online, and the data is accessable.
Does this mail mean that the NAS chasis is bad , need to replace now?
Thanks...guys..

- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredPlease open a tech support case (http://www.readynas.com/support). Edit the thread title (i.e. subject of first post in the thread) to include the case number. Tech support will probably request logs (they will advise on how to send them to them) and based on their analysis they can advise you on how to proceed.
