There are multipule reports of vulnerabilities with SMS based MFA, we would love the ablility to use a TOTP autheinicator like GoogleAuthenticator/Authy/Passly/Duo when logging into our Insight account or any NETGEAR product.

Agree of course for adding TOTP of course. Most of the SMS vulnerabilities are mobile provider (poor processes, poor security, ...) and network issues (SS7) - old crow in this business 8-).
