Hi, Using Insight we can do a speedtest to see how fast the connection is. I’m using a PR60X with a 4Gbps fibre connection but running speedtest from the router (both via Insight or the local GUI) it doe not reflects my line speed. Using a computer wired connected to the 10Gbps lan port is works just fine BUT I have to select a specific speedtest server. It seems not all servers ready for testing a high speed connection. For Hotels and other businesses which have a variety of clientele from different nationalities. While it's potentially a small change it would be advantageous to have proper multi-language support the for the instant captive portal product. The current captive portal, while you can enter your own labels / terms and conditions. The actual interface remains in english, looking very un-professional. Simply making the option to pick a langage for the interface would help or allowing edditing of the entry button / other text and links. This could be taken a step further and allow for several languages, with a dropdown option to change to the clients preffered language in the captive portal. This allows us to then present terms and conditions in other languages and one could tailor advertising to match. NETGEAR Insight's tierd admin system leaves alot to be desired. Primary issue is that a Manager doesn't have enough rights to do their roll and we are only allowed 1 single admin account. The ideal solution would be to have a more granular admin system where we can create our own rolls and select which rights each roll has, (i.e. Billing User, Intern (Read Only), Sales, Help Desk, etc) The alternative and easier to implement solution would be to simply allow us to have multipule admin accounts so that we no longer need a shared account.1.9KViews2likes1Comment
