ability to turn led off

Dear developpers. Everything is in the idea subject. And I can see many identical ideas/requests for other Netgear models. My 7300 extender is in a bedroom, and generate too much light. Could you please update the firmware so as to allow users to turn the leds off? If it is technically not possible, and not going to happen for this 89$ model, could you please let us know as well (so that I can replace it with another device rather than waiting an firmware which is not going to be released - my other access point, a small 29$ tp-link device, offers that option). Thanks!
