I am not sure how this is still NOT a fearure... Under Advanced>Security>Schedule, we should be able to setup multiple schedules for and it should even be per device. Currently, I can set only one schedule for all devices. This is very limiting compared to competing router options: D-Link, etc. I should be able to set MUTLIPLE access schedules on a per-device basis. For example, if I have two devices that I want to restrict when they can access the Internet, I should be able to state on device A it can access the Internet Sunday-Thursday from 4 pm - 10 pm and Friday-Saturday from 10 pm until 1 am. I should then be able to set a different schedule for device B, for example Sunday-Thursday from 6 pm - 11 pm and Friday-Saturday from 8 pm - 11 pm.
How this feature wasn't implemented yesterday is beyond me???

I could not agree more with you. I just dropped $500 on a system that cannot handle multiple schedules that my $149 ASUS router could? I am hopeful that an update is forthcoming that will address this issue (please?). I have teenagers with phones/tablets/PC's that need to be blocked individually based around their homework schedules and bed routines. To assign one schedule to all does not make a whole lot of sense to me. the # of schedules we should be able to create should be limitless.
The routers work flawlessly, but on administrations side, has alot to be desired.

I was about to make my own suggestion along these lines. I would really like multiple schedules. It's very silly to be able to block services at only one time of day. And that you can't set different schedules for different pools.
I was happy that I could set a specific rule for a specific pool of addresses this would apply to under Advanced>Security>Block Services
But it seems rediculous that you can only enable and disable this blocking once per day. And that the same timeframe applys to all rules. Let me just repeat: that's rediculous. I suppose parental controlls may be an option to explore. But still, come on.I hope you guys at Netgear prioritize this and fix this soon.

Hi Everyone,
Thank for your suggestions on multiple access schedules. Your idea will be reviewed for consideration. :]

I agree, this is something that is needed desparately. I have a part workaround. My kids phones (and mine) don't do 5G so I apply multiple schedules using the wireless options. The 2.4 wireless (which the phones use) is set up to operate at various times on different days. The same can be done for the 5G wireless, which is where the family laptops are. Then I put some of the kids laptops into an IP group to apply the firewall schedule to. This allows a bit more flexibility but still restricts you to having to put devices into groups rather than individual schedules which would be better.

How this feature wasn't implemented is beyond me? This is a basic feature on all ASUS routers?
What is the ETA on this?

Hi,
Just bought a NightHawk R7000 and was really disapointed when I realised that this capability still doesn´t exist in a quite expensive router. Even the cheapest routers has this feature now.
Please add this feature!

Really annoying. One simple schedule to handle multiple devices in oro house. My kids have cell phones, PlayStations, Xbox, school laptop and own laptops in their rooms. I bought this router to be able to control access in the house - I set the simple router from our ISP in bridged mode for this purpose. I used up the available schedule to be handle the Xbox in our living room.

+ 1..
A schedule pr day would be even better, so I could decide that Friday and Saturday could have longer time... etc.
Please, this suggestion is several months old, could we have a month or year to expect this to be implemented? :)

+100 if possible
Adding to this choir of requests for a feature, that should be SO EASY to implement and mean SO MUCH to many users.
Come on now NETGEAR !!

I really need the multiple schedulers per device, only thing I can do now is switch back to use FIOS router, and return orbi back to bestbuy.
