Add VPN TUN Option to the D7000 to allow connection from iOS and Android devices
Please could you consider adding the TUN profile in the OpenVPN server software already installed on the D7000 router to enable access from iOS and Android devices.
From using the OpenVPN Server myself, it should be a reasonably straight forward configuration issue as opposed to additional firmware.
If you cannot provide this then would you at least allow the VPN ports (4500 etc) to be freed up when not in use so I can forward them to the internal network. At present these ports are blocked from being set for forwarding to the internal network irrespective of whether the VPN server is active or not...
Thanks

Please add this to the R8000 firmware also!
- jeffjkNoviceAdd TUN across the board please, It's no fun having to run a separate VPN server for support :(

Hi bebbo,
Totally agree with you comments regarding VPN ports 4500, 500 etc to allow L2TP tunnelling to be used from another connected VPN device such as a billion 7800vdox modem that is connected to my d7000 via the billion's wan port.

Hi AbhayB, which latest FW is providing TUN VPN as really working?
Since its introduction it is just possible to reach the D7000 but no way to go on the internet, the "push" of the VPN is suffering a syntax error. Somebody talks about a FW which fixes the issue but apparently the .50 is not, which is the "latest FW" you mention?
