D7000 and ReadyCLOUD

The R7000 currently supports ReadyCLOUD while the D7000 does not. Please implement ReadyCLOUD into the next firmware.

You are welcome! Actually the feature has been available for a while now but yes, we are monitoring this forum quite well. Only engaging right now. Keep 'em coming!

  • Thank you for providing the functionality. Now how about adjusting the firmware to allow any type of hard drive to be used with the D7000. It was also stated in your documentation 2 years ago that one can use any hard drive, yet the many, many complaints that you can only use a handful of hard drives makes nonsense of the promises that Netgear make in the marketing, yet do not deliver.

Some of those complaints are down to people trying to attach USB drives with incompatible format. When they fix that Readyshare see the drives.

Do you want Netgear to accommodate more formats?

  • Recently bought D7000v2. I can usually get netphone/voip on my old modem. Is this possible with D7000v2 and what do I to set it up?
