The R7000 currently supports ReadyCLOUD while the D7000 does not. Please implement ReadyCLOUD into the next firmware.

Thought that the D7000 had ReadyCloud.
Disappointed,
I'd be obliged if it could be added to this modem as it was a deciding factor in my purchase.
I also thought that the R7000 and D7000 were the same other than the modem integration.

It has been over 8 MONTHS since this request was posted. A request that seems like a simple copy/paste job from the R7000 code.
If a request so obvious, simple, and popular like this cannot be implemented in a timely manner, what is the point of this "idea exchange"?
Not to mention, it was featured in Netgear documentation.

Good point. If the engineers do monitor this forum then it would be appreciated if they also say if they are not going to do it so that we don't keep our hopes up and expect anything. It does not seem that they are interested in any of our comments here. Netgear, this does not reflect well on you as a company. Are you interested in serving your customers?

Oh didn't notice that this thread is 8 months old?
I might just return the D7000 for a refund.
Pity it's nice other than this.

Does Netgear monitor these threads?
I'd agree with abriedev's comment, if this feature is in the list to be added
or even considered could you tell us. If it's not going to happen be better to let us know and then we can review alternatives instead of sitting and getting anoyed with Netgear.
Unless of course this thread is simply somewhere for the Mods on the main Netgear board to fob off customer problems :)

Really Really really disappointed...........no ready cloud on the modem which costs 6 times the price of a standard modem. Not buying netgear crap again. its been 2 weeks and i got all sorts of problem with this D7000 modem. Was using a billion and never had to touch it for 3 years. Every search result in google comes starting with "SOLVED". ru serious who monitors these so called community. nothing but some losers with no hope. I have a readynas which is totally useless now because of this lack of feature. never ever a netgear product again..........

Cool. An obvious feature is implemented 2 years later. Thanks Netgear! You do monitor these "ideas." :smileywink:
