I can see a lot of people who be placing thrid party firmware a their older routers to solve their routing problems and a new market opening for preowned n and older ac router with open thrid party firmware to able cover that dead spot or reach an different room like the garage from the house. It will be a mad house for the FCC to monitor every wifi device.
