it would be nice to add support for DHCP lease time, both for IPv4 and IPv6. Currently there's no way to change the lease time with the firmware GUI.

Example: you have many devices coming and going. With the current lease time of 1 day, this can easily exhaust the DHCP pool. If the user is able to set it to a (much) lower lease time through the GUI, the pool exhastion can be mostly avoided.

Yes there are various posts around many forums asking for this feature, but have not seen action by netgear. I have a 6100 and a 7800 (in different locations).

Please incorporate the lease time change in the firmware. I've never owned a router (until now) that didn't have the modify lease time feature.
Yes, I support this request. I have used the R7000 for some time, and never even thought that this basic value cannot be changed via the LAN interface, until I needed it. I am very surprised: the R7000 seems like a serious router!
- I agree, being able to set a specific lease time seems like a reasonable request, and an easy enough setting to implement. Just keep it in the Advanced section so that people that have much more basic needs don't even need to think about it.
It is an absolute necessity to be able to set the DHCP lease time.
From what I understand it seems to be a reasonable request to be able to set the lease time in the advanced settings. If Netgear doesn't seem fit to make the change perhaps they could let us know what their reasoning is.

It also appears that some models already have that feature implemented. We now need the same for the rest of the models
