Installation guide if you plan to hardwire one satellite and wirelessly connect to the other.
Is there somewhere on Netgear web site that shows/explains exactly what you need to do to set up a two satellite system, one being hardwire to the Orbi router and the 2nd one being wireless connection?
This was my question to the Netgear chat line....and they could not find the answer as well.
I have the AX5400 WiFi6 system with router and 2 satellites.
My home is a three story. My router will be in the basement, one satellite on the main floor and one upstairs. I can hardwire from the router to the main floor satellite but must use wireless to the third floor satellite.
Q1. When setting up, when exactly should I plug the main floor satellite ethernet cord into the unit? And does the ethernet cable get plugged in before the power adapter?
Q2. Baically asking if I need to be somewhat tech savvy ( which I am not) to correctly install just using the phone app and not having to "adjust" the install process by actually understanding any of the underlying technology. (Can you make it like my old Apple Extreme Router/WiFi....just plug and play simplicity?)

First it's recommended to wirelessly sync the RBS to the RBR, then you can plug in the RBS via ethernet connection:

Thanks for the reply. Very appreciated.
The link you provided does not address the issue of one satellite being wired and the other being wireless.
This seems like a very common question out there that Netgear might want to post somewhere as well as add 30 seconds to their install video to address this issue.
