Just to add a few words of support to this thread. I live in a rural areal where the radio propagation path is to say the least complex:-- in the winter I can use the GHz+ 4G options, whilst in the summer I need to drop down to the old TV UHF frequencies. Downlink performance is no indication of uplink performance and vice versa.. I can give the modem a little nudge by using frequency tweaked antenna, but I would rather have the flexibility of a broadband MIMO array. So please, Netgear, give us some way to force bands utilised:- other observations in this thread give some good ideas
