Add support for a second SIM card on the LB2120 successor. SIM cards switch ICs and connectors are cheap, it won’t cost a lot to add that feature. The active card selection could be done manually over the web management interface. The Mikrotik LtAP mini LTE already supports dual SIM.

I've responded to 2 other ideas regarding sending emails on failover, however a dual sim card setup would also solve this problem. One sim as a data sim. The other sim can handle SMS.
