Netgear Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot(MR5100) Feature Request

Netgear Nighthawk 5G Mobile Hotspot(MR5100) - My question is the following:
Would you be able to write into the firmware so that I can connect this MR5100 via Ethernet Cable to my home router? Basically have the MR5100 act as broadband "Modem", providing WAN connection to the router via Ethernet Cable

I have the MR5100 set up as a backup connection using USB tethering to my home router, so that when my main cable internet connection fails my home router will switch over and use the USB tethered MR5100 internet connection for my home network.

However, I would much rather prefer to have it set up with an ethernet cable connection from the MR5100 since my home router is a dual WAN capable router.

Do you think you could write this feature into your firmware? Really you are already offering this via USB tethering, but via ethernet it would be much better for fail over and connection.
