No modern router should be accessible over telnet but over ssh alone - this is such a big security risk! Also, please put net-snmp into Orbi's firmware to enable monitoring them via SNMP.

This is the 21st century. Telnet and FTP should have been euthanized by now. This is not a trivial matter, but a serious cyber security issue!
If we get SNMP, please implement SNMPv3 with both authentication and encryption (AES128 or 256, please), and don't allow public or private to be used on SNMPv2.
I know that manufucaturers see these products as home or SOHO, but the criminals see them as another node in their botnet, and a way to grab more credentials to extend their botnet.
