It would be great if you could see realtime bandwidth per device for the netgear r7000, similar to Google Wifi and Eero. It would be a really useful info and diagnostic tool to see what devices are currently taking up bandwidth. It would be great if this was added to the router web administration page as well theNetgear Genie and/or Netgear Up apps.
I've attached a screenshot of how this feature looks on Google Wifi.

I am surprised there has been no Netgear response in three years.
This is still needed. I have no idea which device is using up all of my data cap, every user in my house says "not me!" If I enable Dynamic QoS, I can then get a picture of who's using the bandwidth right now, but QoS slows down all my traffic and causes interruptions for some devices (e.g. my Nintendo Switch) when playing online games (e.g. Warframe), even when set to the highest priority (I've also tried leaving it on "Normal" priority). I still can't see who's using up my bandwidth when I'm not watching...
Netgear, I've decided, after being loyal for almost a decade, is garbage, particularly due to their cruddy firmwares and softwares. The actual hardware might be decent, but since most won't allow you to flash a functional, useful firmware onto them, they are garbage by association. Shopping for something non-Netgear as we speak, then See Ya!
Totally agree, real-time, per-device bandwidth tracking would be a game-changer for the R7000. It’s frustrating not knowing which device is hogging the connection until everything slows to a crawl. Having that data right in the web admin and Genie/Up apps would make troubleshooting and bandwidth management so much easier, especially for households with multiple devices.
Several years later & this is still desperately needed. I paid a lot for the Orbi RBR860 + satellites, & expected this feature would be available from a reputable brand.
