I have had a Nighthawk X6 R800 Router for a while now. I really like the Smart Connect feature. Then I bought the extender and expected it to be able to extend the current SSID. Sadly that didn't work. Now I need to juggle different SSIDs and it confuses the heck out of my family and our devices. Please enable Smart Connect on the exteder as well so that the current network is extended, not patched.

Which version of the EX6150 do you have? The version 2 has the mesh function with the latest firmware.
V1 has a mediatek chipset and the v2 has the qualcomm chipset.
