AC1750 - Will a factory reset clear the event logs?
Simple question: Will performing a factory reset on an AC1750 automatically clear all the data, specifically the event logs? I'm giving my router away and want to make sure it's clean of any sensitive data. All of it needs to be gone.

All of it needs to be gone.Yes, if done properly, a firmware default reset will clear the event logs on Netgear gateway/routers.
If there is anything in there you want, copy it off to a text or word processing file before the reset.

Reset wipes everything.
Try it and see.
10 second press then release of the reset button is all that's needed.
