ADmin password

Hi,

I have Netgear C7000v2.  Do I have to use the web to change my admin password. Is there not a place I can do that on the nighthawk application.

I also notice that I have to go 192.168.0.1 to get admin tab to come up?  Is that right?  Is this secure?   I then put the admin password in and try to change it but it doesn't change right away?  So I am getting confused on which password it is.   

Is there an easier way to change the admin password?  I also tried the genie application but you don't support that any more.
