C6250 AC1600 Modem Router Download stream lightning bolt keeps flashing.

Question

I have had this modem/router for about one and a half years and was connected to the Comcast TV router.

Just recently I turned in the TV router and plugged the cable into the C6250 modem/router and now the Download stream lightning bolt is flashing about every second.

I went through the resets and comcast did what they do to test the router, and found that is nothing wrong with their end and doubled checked all the settings, but to no avail.

Can someone help with this????

Whats the user manual say about the front LED behaviors?&nbsp;

The manual states, on the blinking green downstream lightning bolt means the unit scanning for additional downstream channels...

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem.&nbsp;Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.&nbsp;Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.&nbsp;Try a factory reset and setup from scratch on the modem.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Comcast has tested the line in and said it showed good signal strength and quality.I have done a factory reset and it is still happening.Occasionally the signal drops out on my phone which uses wifi for connectivity.This started after i disconnected the cable tv and returned the equipment to xfinity, and just signed up for wifi.It is supposed to be downloading up to 175gbps. But I'm showing about 85gbps.Could the modem have gone bag, or not be able to handle the speed? It's not what the specs say...Thank you for your help...

You might get a newer modem and see if the modem works any better than what you have. Possible the modem has or is going bad.&nbsp;
