I am looking to replace my Xfinity modem/wifi unit with a Netgear product. The only WiFi 6, DOCSIS 3.1 units that Xfinity indicates will work with their system and my speed are the CBR750, CAX80 and CAX30. The CBR750 and CAX80 are over my price limit so that leaves me with the CAX30. However, a new CAX30 is not available through Netgear, only the CAX30S.
What is the difference between the CAX30 and the CAX30S and will the CAX30 work with Xfinity?

Re: CAX30 versus CAX30S
Or its just supply/demand issue. router prices climbed dramatically when covid first hit and I know the newer released devices have been in short supply.
