CM1000 Cox Gigablast
Hi, i've had my CM1000 for a few months now and i just recently upgraded to Cox Gigablast. I have an issue where when i am connected directly to the modem, i'll have one test that'll be the right downlink speed ( around 820 Mbps ) and a crappy uplink speed ( about 15 Mbps ) or when it's connected to a router i'll just have both a crappy downlink ( about 500 Mbps ) and a crappy uplink speed ( about 10 - 15 Mbps ). I am on the V5.01.04 firmware doing this test both on a Linux system and a Windows system to no difference. I called Cox about it, and of course like everyone else they said that their end is fine and that it is my stuff so i am just trying to figure out if it's bad CAT5E cables ( which i'm replacing with new CAT6 cables coming in a few days ) or if it's something else.

Re: CM1000 Cox Gigablast
CAT6 would be minimum and try a different wired PC to compare results if possible.
Be sure there are not coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
