CM1000 Gigabit Speed Issues

I recently bought the CM1000 modem and the AC1750 R6400v2 router. I just upgraded to Cox Gigablast speeds about a week ago. The speeds I'm suppose to be getting are around 940 Mbps. When I run speed test from my laptop and desktop my speeds only top off at around 550 to 600 Mbps. That's from modem to router and being hardwired.

I have tried modem to laptop/desktop. Same results, 550 to 600 Mbps. I've changed from CAT 5e to 6. No changes. I've power cycled my modem with no luck. Reset my router, no luck.

I ran a speed test via Wifi on my Galaxy S10 and I got roughly the same speeds.

Any solutions or tips?

Have you directly speed tested with a wired PC connected to the CM modem?

You router may not be capable of passing thru with anything near 900Mbps...

Already tried that. Only got speeds of about 550 to 600 Mbps. Sorry, I wasn't clear enough in the first post.

Try a different PC to compare speed with the modem?

You might contact the ISP and have them check the signal quality up to the modem.

Be sure there are not cable coax line splitters in between the modem and ISP service box.

I had a tech come out to the house today, to take a look at the issue. The tech took care of some bad wiring and that did the job. I am now getting full speeds.
