CM1000 solid ethernet orange light only

After about a year of use, my CM1000 went dead. When I plug in the modem to power, all the lights blink once, and then the orange ethernet light stays on solidly.  I've tried factory reset button, but the modem is not responding.  It seems others have had this issue, but I did not see how they were resolved.  If anyone has a resolution, please let me know.

    Read the user manual on the front LED indiacator meanings.

    Disconnect the ISP coax cable from the modem them factory rest.

    Try a different power supply. Be sure to match the voltage and amps.
