CM500 Eathernet LED

I have a new CM500 cable modem and the Eathernet LED continues to flash red.  The modem is connected to my router and I do not see any explaination for the red flashing.

    Hello JanL123

     

    Try to factory reset the modem by holding down the reset button on the back for 10 seconds. Also check your Ethernet cord try another one if available.  I would also contact your ISP make sure the modem is registered properly with them for it to work.
